Such an illuminating subject line. Stuff I have been doing and thinking since last I posted.
-next time I complain that I have stuffed up my arm, remind me it is really my back that needs attention. I managed to crick a couple of vertebrae last night and today my arm is much better, hoorah.
-am being encouraged to apply for a job that I used to think I wanted but now am not so sure. A case of "be careful what you wish for"?
-DIY goodness. Supervised by my excellent houseguest, I managed to change a tap washer for the first time. No dripping taps for me!
-back at work after a month off . Have been reminded just how much work my work is. last night was so tired I felt ill. Much better today but worked late. Roll on the weekend.
-Finally got some plumbers here to look at the loo/bathroom work. Fantastic news that the first quote is much less than I expected, whew.
-Mother is improving. After days of being terrified that her wound would reopen, had an ultrasound today. Apparently it is healing OK. My uncle has just had surgery and he is apparently improving too. This is all good.
-really enjoyed the visit from M and T and baby J. So nice to see them for goodly amount of time, not just a few hours.
