Mother update: We have been able to bring Mama home from hospital. She had the angiogram and came up with lovely clean arteries. That's nice. So she is not supposed to be a heart risk. However it does not explain her intermittent very woozy fits. More visits to the GP to come. And I go home tomorrow. Poor Mum, she was so looking forward to me visiting.

Oh dear, just read your post, and the one before. That's not good, but I'm glad the angiogram is ok. You're the third in the set of three with mother health problems with an impact on your holidays, so at least everyone else is off the hook. Give your mum my best wishes - I hope she gets well soon. Sorry your holiday didn't work out so well.
