Kitchen is successfully de-greened. 3coats of cream paint on, new lockable window winder installed and all door and window furniture back on. In addition
-blind is cut down to fit inside window frame and reinstalled
-blue gingham frill curtain made and installed. Bit twee but I am finding it nice for now. Matches the door curtain.

So, it used to look like this:

Now it looks like this:

Or alternatively, this:

Do you like? I do, vastly prefer. The cream colour is a treat for the (my) eye. I look at it and feel relaxed, my eyes go "ahh". What a great thing.

While I didn't mind the green, the cream really lifts the room. Very pretty.

Well done

Very nice indeed! I look forward to seeing it in person. Can our sing be Wednesday? I have remembered that I have a blood donation on Thursday.

The cream is indeed a great improvement, but to my mind the real difference is the window - heaps more light. Do you need to cover it up with the curtain?

thanks dear. The curtain is only against extremes of temperature. I made it on black Saturday before the 46C hit. It does help in hot weather even though it is only two layers of cotton. I will use it in the depths of winter too. Otherwise I prefer the light

Beautiful. I like the cream very much. The space looks warmer and more modern. Well done.

Looks very nice in that space. I liked the green, too but you're right; the cream has given it a serious lift!

Mine will go from cream to white. No green. No plans for green, anyways.
