well. I have an account, an aspirational username and intentions to set more aspects up. The rotten system won't let me upload a userpic though. Don't know what I am doing wrong. I'll work out the LJ connection later. Must say this posting page looks very familiar

Hi there Ms Colonial! Actually I only have user pics by importing them from LJ. I've tried about 5 times, can't make one in dreamwidth. No errors, the picture just doesn't seem to load properly.

Ya, I decided to do just that. Couldn't see anything I was doing wrong. Could be transient, they have a comment about userpic having other issues, maybe they are in the process of fixing it.
