The bag is heavy but I could have carried more. I drooped/dropped/exhausted myself before I reached that point. Good for my wallet.

The haul:
-yet ANOTHER pair of red shoes
-jeans
-two Tshirts, one casual, one dressy
-a great many pairs of socks
-short knitting needles for train knitting
-some thread and lining fabric.

all good and not too excessive. The first three items were on sale too. Not quite shopping goddess but not bad.

Now for a rest before my dinner engagement. La di dah.

The emoticon which pops up for "exhausted" is just not the kind which goes with "shop 'til you drop" exhausted! It looks sad! You sound like you've had an awesome day!

You know, I was thinking that myself. I meant the good kind of exhausted

Never too many pairs of red shoes, my dear. Every woman should have hundreds in my opinion. I'm at 7 pairs myself

Ah, I think this pair makes 7. One pair is two tight for me to wear though and needs to be found a new owner. I am also overdue for a cull of all things wearable, including shoes, even red ones.

I did that just before Christmas - donated 5 rubbish bags of clothing/shoes and seriously reduced my wardrobe. Basically got rid of anything that didn't properly fit, was an impulse buy that didn't quite work, made me feel blah when I wore it or wasn't the right shape for my body. Was very liberating plus has the added advantage of ensuring that I now feel that I dressing more effectively than I ever have before.
