I seem to have a Saturday wholey free. Well, unplanned. There is lots I want to do. We will see what fits in the day. it is WET here again. Good that most of my ideas for today involve being inside.
I am rather envious of my many friends who are now on hols for ages. Damn. Well I haven't organised another job so I should not complain too much. I do have a weekend, back at work for one (hopefully half?) day and then two more days off.

quatrefoil's house state. My boggart has not been playing so hard I suspect and at least I started with an unpacked house but things are lying in drifts across all flat surface. Sort of geological layers. I have this vague ambition to make the house fit to eat Christmas dinner in though I must say that serious tidying is actually rather a hard thing to do and involves thought, not much of which I have on a Saturday. I have started to tackle it, found myself setting up to dye some fabric instead, so wandered here to post this as a diversion. I also thought I could make my bedroom curtains today but I need to tidy up the sewing room first. To cut curtains I need rather more of the cutting table available than the dinner plate sized gap left between partially finished projects, remnants of finished projects, stacks of fabric brought out for projects not started....channelling Cecily I shall make a coffee instead. Oh and go put more clothes on, my shoulders are cold- outside it is only 15.5C.
Wonder what i will end up getting done today?
Update: well that was a dangerous thing to say. I just had a call from a friend who lives in Syd but is here for Chrissie. This afternoon I will treck out to nth Eltham to see her, hubby and the two boys. There goes today. I had better tidy quickly this morning.
