small things that make me happy

[elegentry]

-company for dinner after 3 days on my own. Thanks for coming over erudito . Though we agreed we should each have been spending the evening with a lovely gentleman of the right persuasion, sigh.
-a favourite old recipe
-black sherry- though it or the total quantity of alcohol is noticeable in my brain this morning

-brushing my hair in a mostly dark room and watching the sparks in the mirror
-a clean kitchen
-rediscovering nutella
-feeling almost well. Actually well would be better but hopefully all I have to do is wait.

the nutella lives on a shelf I can't reach along with the chocolate... I used to just eat it with a spoon straight from the jar as a chocolate substitute.

Having said that I made a bizarre yet working hot chocolaty fudge sauce for iceream tonight:
2 caramello koalas broken into a couple of bits, grated milk choc that was hanging about (probably about 12 squares worth). Nuke on low power in pyrex jug in microwave for about 15secs, stir in a teaspoon of full cream milk, back in the microwave for another 10sec, stir through another teaspoon of milk. Serve over icecream - yummy. Depending on the chocolate you may need to add more or less milk (cream would also work I assume).
