Turns out I am not so very brave but I did get the job done.

I got all my cutting chores measured, marked and prepped. Then I found the angle-grinder, got it out of it's box, looked at it's parts, read the manual and then put it back in the box. Sigh. Just not that brave.

However I am not defeated by this. All cutting chores done with hand tools. Hoorah for hacksaw and tin snips!

So I have:
-cut down the knob screws for the 8 drawer chest.
-assembled said chest
-cut down both bathroom blinds to fit inside the window frames.
-reinstalled the blinds.

Now I am a bit achey and it is 2 hrs later that I thought it was. I had better scurry if I want to run my errands and still get to pasta tonight in good time. Ah, better put tools away first.
