Montjoye to the woods!

Very shortly we are off to stay at Weem for two nights. Yes there really is a place called Weem.  It is near Aberfeldy. I have been promised woods, am very keen.

This morning Bro and I pulled a piece of lovely old carpet from a skip- I found it yesterday. I am fantasising about getting it home. Unlikely really but it is the sort of thing I have been hoping to find. Sigh. I also wanted to bring home a pile of old roofing slates, now that really won't happen but they would have roofed the cutest garden shed ever.

This morning we went to Craigmillar castle. Fabulous place. There is so much of it that I was actually almost lost at one point. LOTs of remaining rooms and windy staircases, cellars, kitchens, chambers and halls. An even on the lawn in the outer courtyard would be fabulous. There are also great leaning, climbable trees in the inner courtyard. Wow.

Love to all, miss you. I am looking forward to getting home but hopefully I will be distracted by woods for a few days.

Sounds wonderful!

It's right in Edinburgh, just above the New Royal infirmary.

Gosh! I guess I don't know Edinburgh that well. I also used to know a Craig Miller so it's a bit of a giggle there....

Sounds like you're having fun. Which is fantastic! Looking forward to having you home, but not before you're ready. May I ask when????

Looking forward to being home! I fly in Thurs morning about 9:30am. All booked, the big question is can I fit any carpet in my luggage?
