then come to Edinburgh. I am seriously jealous of Bro's neighbourhood. So beautiful. I went for a walk this morning and took lots of pics of buildings- tenement houses mostly. Also visited the local graveyard, terribly picturesque and gothic, incuding old crumbling vaults with water dripping. Atmospheric or what?

I think we are off to scrounge in thrift shops this arvo.

Yesterday I exhausted myself by running around the Burrell collection. So glad I went. Lots of medieval stuff and beautiful grounds to walk through.

isn't it funny? my dad migrated to escape the tenements of Edinburgh and then our generation goes, Oh, how atmospheric! ;-)

I really enjoyed Edinburgh.

isn't the Burrell collection in Glasgow? or have you just travelled... wherever it is - yes, coaarrr, I enjoyed it very much too!

Hi there. Yes the Burrell is in Glasgow. I had just trained it from Glasgow to Edinburgh the night before this post.

Indeed I would still prefer to live in my little house than a tenement flat but Oh Ediniburgh is pretty. Rather grey, suspect it could get quite depressing in winter, grey stone, grey sky, few hours of daylight.
