And I now have a work skirt lined in silk, because my old lining was wrecked, and realising I was never going to fix it, I bought some lining silk and took it off to the alterations place at Northcote plaza. The lady there was quite cross at me for choosing silk, she said it wasn't very hard wearing, and that proper lining was made of polyester. But she made it up, and now the skirt feels lovely... and it means I have a whole extra suit again!
