hot toddy!

someone wrote that they hoped I had nothing that would not be cured by the judicious application of hot toddies. So I was inspired to make a hot honey and lemon (actually lime it turned out) drink containing a slug of St Agnes. What a good idea.

Still feeling icky, nothing dramatic but not fun either. Not sure about work tomorrow but I think I will be home again. I did quite a bit of work today but I don't feel up to complicated decisions. Bit sad that as I need to make some. I seem to only be able to string 2 thoughts together, not the webs of interconnections that I need. Sigh.

Today's nasty winds blew in my fanlight window. Bang, crash and I went looking for a bottle that might have fallen over. No, but there are more cracks in the leadlights now. I am rather glad it happened while I was home. At least I know there was no burglar involved. I also heard a number of loud noises suggest bits of fences were flying about. I was not foolish enough to investigate, did not wish to be minced by flying bits.

Sounds like it was a good day to stay home and not drive anywhere.
