rediscovered floor
Goodness, my house has a floor! I have slowly been rediscovering it over the last few weeks. The majority of the bits that are supposed to be showing now are. I have just done the quick clean, you know, the one where all through it you keep thinking "can't be bothered doing that awkward bit now-I'll do that next time when I clean properly". Hmm, I don't think the proper clean ever happens. I am though much happier with even this level of clean after what matters were an hour ago.

tenbears from his favourite pair of historical trousers and have taken a pattern from them . This afternoon I give them back and then we go looking for fabric to make a new pair. Oh the hopefulness prior to entering the fabric shop! One usually never finds the thing one is looking for though. Wish us luck this time.
