It turned out that handsewing while carefully keeping shoulders relaxed and listening to gentle music was a good thing to do yesterday. As a result I have FINALLY finished the last two pairs of the three trouser project started at Easter.

The cut is the same for all three so one modelled pic will do for all. Also shown are the three fabrics. Does anyone love the woven selvage wording like I do? The grey/gold fabric on the left is the one modelled and I think will be my favourite to wear, soft and drapey. The green check is a very fine tropical weight wool that will be good in warm weather but hard to coordinate. The dark gaberdine is a great colour but very tightly woven, thus stiff and creases easily.

They are made, they fit, I have troosers! All fully lined, the gaberdine with silk which is an experiment. I usually use rayon lining. It is lovely and slithery, non static and breathes.

Then I need to mend my much worn old charcoal pair. Also alter the old black pair that have been too baggy and short to wear. Then I will have 5 pairs of work troosers! Wah ha ha.
