slow struggle back to normality

still coughing and wheezing my way through the day. Speech is still exhausting and painful if indulged in for too long but sounds more like I am home in my head. Managed to go to work on the train today, the walk was actually welcome- I must be getting better.

So, if one has been out of the office sick for a fortnight, has warned one's boss that one is sick, thick headed and getting behind in the work though struggling along....who's fault is it if certain matters have not been dealt with quite soon enough???? I was offered support for a few days that did not prevent the harder questions coming my way anyway, even when I had stated i was sick enough to actually need to not work . This so called support sure didn't deal with the ongoing planning responsibility. Sigh. Maybe I should fall under a bus or quit or fall off the edge of the planet or something.

I was supposed to be on leave from this morning until next Monday. However, I don't have the time to take leave. If i did, and the inevitable consequences of my lack of planning occurred... guess who's fault that would be for not prepping properly before going on leave???

I know there is an excess of punctuation in this post. Substitute swear words as you feel fit. This job is more than full time even when one is well.
