Don't read this if you are offended by talk of renovations.
The plumber has been and gone and left his bill and some great plumbing. Also some holes in the tiles. My trusty renovator (read Papa Montjoye) arrives in about 10 days so the push is on to aquire stuff to install.
I had a mild panic after being told that my wall tiles are obsolete and cannot be bought. However my ring around tile shops found an incredibly helpful chap who directed me to a special tile shop who stock Johnson tiles. I had a successful morning trecking across town to speak to the lovely man who sold me tiles to match the bathroom walls except half the size. Square instead of rectangular. I can live with that, whew.
Still to find an acceptable match for the floor tiles. Job for next Sat I think.
Also door furniture (love that term) and some more comfy bed alternative. This latter might defeat me in the time frame.
