Fabric success

After nearly 3 years of hearing about it, I finally went to Eliza's this morning. Score! She supplied me with the lightweight suiting wool that I wanted only it is beige so I get to go dye shopping. Also a length of lovely dark navy twill for you might know who. 

Plumbing- try, try again

I am tentatively hopeful. I just had a third plumber come and look at my bathroom. This one was recommended by a lady from work, he was described as being prompt and actually turning up to do the work, here's hoping. He has responded well so far even though he gave me bit of suprise just now- he was supposed to turn up Sun morning (his idea). Cross fingers, I might have another quote next week.

Previously I had two plumbers turn up to have a look. One never even sent a quote. The other quoted back in Sept and I haven't heard from him since.
