This is the first time in AGES that I am at home on a Sunday with my car across town at the previous night's party venue. Can't remember the last occasion. Still, I had a good time. My decision to drink more and get a lift home was pretty redundant due to three beers and an unwisely accepted glass of champers. The original plan of two beers would have been fine. I plead approx 4hrs driving and resulting blah brain. So now I need to decide when to have the public transport adventure to retrieve said car. Probably this afternoon I think. I had thought to do it tomorrow after work but I know just how much I won't want to do it then.
The less remniscent part of this Sunday is that I am not hung over, hoorah. Only managed another half a drink before we left, my lift left earlier than I wanted, good thing I think on several levels. I had 10hrs sleep again- bliss. Have already cleaned the bath and put a load of washing on. Should vac the house before I turn it into laundry hanging space.
Meanwhile I shall finish my coffee- laced with UHT, ick, 'cause I really am out of milk this time. Well I needed a shower before I left the house, couldn't have one until I had finished cleaning bath and shower curtain (a process started yesterday), couldn't face that without coffee of course. Would have bought milk on the way home last night if under my own steam. Ah, all self inflicted but I sure will buy milk today.
