feeling relieved that I have one set of pressies sorted, about 21hrs before they need to be. It is so stressful to chose so many pressies at once while managing have them be appropriate and balanced between recipients who will see each others gifts. One doesn't match the others but people will just have to cope. Sigh. I do like buying pressies when I have time and appropriate inspiration. I like making them even better. Still have two more lots to organise.
wishing I had a proper break to look forward to. Working through while most other people are on holiday has got knobs on.. ..but it is not my turn this year. Only one of my team can have leave at one time.
Instead I am going to visit the family for a few days. I am already stressed about balancing wishes and expectations between my parents and my brother. Hope I get to see P a couple of times but there is also his wife, their friends and his wife's family to keep happy. If we all saw things in the same light it would be easier but of course we don't. Ah, we will see. Let's hope everyone retains their sense of humour and doesn't feel slighted.
