reno prep done!
I do still have a cold but am functional it seems
This morning I have:
-bought floor tiles
-found and put a deposit on a back door. Go the salvage shop!
-ordered the new lockable window winder things.
Yay- this is the last of the prep stuff I needed to organise before the folks come next week for the next renovation extravaganza. There are still 3 things that need to be picked up but all the difficult choosing and ordering stuff is done, whew.
I have also:
-done some boring domestic stuff, dishes, laundry
-planted parsley seed again. I tried to get it to work in situ but it hasn't come up. Not sure if this is lack of water or snail attack. So I am trying again in a pot on the windowsill, I can better control both water and snails there and it worked last year.
Now I shall
-do some work on the interminable work trousers. I cut the linings last week. Let's see how far I get.
-find the energy to vacuum and maybe start on the very much needed dusting.
Sadly I suppose I should stay in quarantine this weekend. How dull. I would rather see people but don't want to spread this. Having said that, I have dealt with 4 people face to face this morning already in shops.
